What is the difference between Single Origin vs Blends in coffee?

Basically Single Origin coffees are from one specific type of bean, farm and/or cooperative. They aroma and flavor profiles are exotic and often change based on farming conditions and seasonality. Single origin coffees have pronounced acidity and fruitiness. 

Blended coffees are combination of different origins, often from different geographical regions and farms. Their aroma and flavor profiles are more rounded, harmonic and gentler taste

Where and how do you source your coffee and other products?

We source our coffee beans and other products from the farms and local sources after testing. Shintoberry maintains long relationships with many of the coffee farms and producers who care for our customers. We offer products that we would personally stock in our homes, so quality is of the essence for us.

For wholesale customers and corporate gift buyers, can I select coffee beans and roasting profile? 

Yes! We will work with you to provide coffee beans (single origins or blended) and roasting profile that your customers enjoy. You can also work with our consultants to select the best beans to fit different brewing methods, like pour over, drip, espresso, cold brew, etc.

For wholesale customers and corporate gift buyers, if I select my own coffee beans, could you provide roasting services only? 

We welcome you to select your own coffee beans. You can send the coffee beans and we will roast them to your liking. If you do not have your own beans we will work with our network of suppliers to acquire the beans and roast them to your preferred profile. Please talk to our consultant to discuss the details.

What is your shipping terms?

Shipping cost is free for all purchases during summer 2022. Take advantage of it :)

Can I return my purchase? 

Due to the nature of perishability, we do not accept returns for coffees and teas, except in certain cases like we sending you the the wrong item. However, we do accept returns and/or exchanges for non consumable items, such as machines and equipment within 30 days of shipping date.
